We have been trying some different supplements with Ruby for the past week. We decided to take the girls to a nearby park and Ruby was amazing. Normally there is a lot of screaming and she is usually oblivious to other kids. Yesterday she was the best she’s been in public. No screaming, going down the slide and the biggest thing was swinging. Ruby has never liked to swing, yesterday she initiated it. She sat on the swing for a while and loved it. It was very surreal for us. I didn’t have that anxious feeling. I could sort of relax and just enjoy it.

Nice pictures and i am happy for you that you had a good day at the park. My son with PDD NOS usually likes the sing and will go through the slide and monkey bars but will not socialize with children even if they approach him . he completely ignores them i guess he doesnt know what to say back at them. i was wondering if there were any supplements that help with socialization.
Good Luck always we are all soldiers

I just started trying the biomedical way. my son has been gluten free casein free for about a month now. even though he sometimes steals some milk and bread. this diet is really hard in the sense that my son doesnt understand that it is not good for him yet. he is 6 yrs old and whenever we go grocery shopping he will try to get some cheese. I have started probiotics, multivitamins, vitamin c , and liquid calcium with vitamin D. I have ordered and is waiting for an antifungal probiotic which is called fivelac together with oxgyen drops and digestive enzymes and those are for his gut. I heard alot about vitamin b12 but most people are recommending the shots, are u using the shots or the sublingual tablets cuz i was thinking of starting the sublingual ones.
thanks and i will check into the autism web site

I think this a big step forward Michelle!! I think if you have an indoor swing that she could try without all the sensory input a park has would be really positive for her! and eventually will help her to keep getting on any swing at any place!
I’m so glad you guys had fun! I do understand how difficult sensory issues can be! Best of luck! xoxo Vanessa (Eli’s mom!)
